It has been forever since I've strung words together for something other than homework. And then there was that transition to WordPress.
My, my that was an interesting field trip.
Wordpress is an incredibly powerful tool that serves thousands of companies and individuals, but it's not for me. My experience can best be summed up as a FOBO - Fear Of a Better Option. Having now explored that other option, I'm happy again to write in a familiar space much like slipping on a favorite pair of jeans brings forth a sigh of contentment.
Familiar routines and predictable reactions to life's challenges render the name of the blog all the more appropriate as JB and BW grow and develop into critical thinkers with their own approaches, thoughts, and opinions on the world around them.
The last few years have been a whirling dervish of adventure, and now that they are teens... every day is an adventure.
Thankfully, the toothpaste wars have faded into fuzzy memories... ah... I've not posted about that have I?
